West Yorkshire RC Racers 1/10th scale Off Road Electric RC Racing Club aimed at beginners and experienced drivers alike.

We race indoors on a fantastic wooden floor surface (with some carpet!) chilled and fun meetings for everyone (and free tea and coffee!) BRCA affiliated club.

Top night on Thursday, massive thanks to all who attended - and an even more huge apologies to all for forgetting the bloomin carpet tape which meant we had an actively moving track at some points all evening! I’ve put them in my boot along with another 10 rolls - plus ordered another load to leave at the church! Jeremy Blann would have a great time 👀🤪

We are also planning on doing a Saturday afternoon open practice where you can come along and run as much as you like with the live timing system just to get used to driving on the surfaces in non- race conditions to get your cars tuned up with the help of some of our seasoned racers. I’ll post up some potential dates shortly.

Great meeting tonight, just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that turned up and it’s greatly appreciated.

The track tonight turned out to be difficult for a lot of the drives but showed some great driving skills and close battles.
Qualifying overall went to Rhys Trewartha Rc taking TQ and BQ was Dan Moorhouse and CQ Jonathan Cordingley.
In the C final it was Jonathan taking the win, by doing a nice smooth run closely followed by Andy Swaine and Jonathon Green rounding out your top 3.
In the B final it was Dan Moorhouse taking the win, he had a couple of minor mistakes but showed a good Battle with Jim Sykes placing P2 and Steve Hutton round out your Top 3.
A final was very exciting to watch as Rhys Trewartha and Mark Mitchell had a great start but the next lapped showed carnage letting James Mcfadyean into the lead and to hold that for the rest of the race with Rhys trying to force an error but it’s almost impossible with the driving skills James have, but overall it was P1 James

Great Meeting last Thursday (Jez's Birthday too, Happy Birthday pal and thanks for the cakes :) )

Less racers than normal but mostly due to the school Holidays but was a great track with a tricky middle mountain section which made the track challenging (named Mount Pattison...)
