What an incredible day! 🫶

From our first presentation at 10:00am through to our final team taking to the stage at 7:00pm, we celebrated an amazing 22 Teams, Recognising the Hard Work, Dedication and Achievements of every player throughout the season.👏

It was a day full of Celebrations, Emotions and Enjoyment. We saw Proud smiles, Happy tears, Loud Cheers and Unforgettable Moments shared by Players, Coaches, Volunteers, Families and Friends. Days like these remind us exactly why our club is so special.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who made the day possible:

Seeing all 22 teams come together throughout the day was a Fantastic Reminder of what our club is all about. We are One Club, One Community, supporting each other every step of the way.

Presentation Day wasn’t just about trophies and awards, it was about recognising Effort, Friendship, Teamwork and the Memories we’ve created together over another fantastic season.

It truly was another perfect example of our club ethos:

This is Sophie who is a volunteer coach at Linthwaite Football Club and has been shortlisted for the West Riding FA Young Volunteer of the Year Award! 🏆

A Huge Congratulations to Sophie on this Fantastic and Well-Deserved recognition. 👏

For more than three seasons, Sophie has dedicated her time to supporting players across her club, making a real difference within our Wildcats Girls Sessions, Pan-Disability Comets Programme, and Pan-Disability Just Play Sessions. Her Enthusiasm, Encouragement and Commitment have helped create Positive Football Experiences for so many young people and adults alike. 🤝

What makes Sophie’s contribution even more special is that she doesn’t even play for the club. She simply wanted to Give Back, Support Others and make a Difference. She is a shining example of what can happen when young people are given Opportunities to Lead, Grow and Inspire those around them. 🫶

Not only has Sophie been making an impact off the pitch, but she’s also enjoyed a fantastic season on it, winning both the League and Cup with her team at Norristhorpe Junior FC. ⚽🏅

A fantastic day for our U13 Girls Leopards today at the Laund Hill annual tournament ⚽️

Both teams made it through the hard fought group stage and into the semi-finals. 💪⚽️

One of our teams fell just short in the semi finals with the other going on to lift the trophy after a nerve shredding penalty shoot out in the final 🏆🏆🏆

A massive well done to all the girls and the teams families for such great support. ☺️
