A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful Afternoon Tea with the fascinating Paul Barwick.

Paul treated us to an intriguing and entertaining talk on The Profumo Affair, bringing this infamous chapter of British history to life.

The talk was followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea, lovingly prepared by our fabulous chefs, and of course, a raffle to round off a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a lovely event. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Emma's Grand Tour of the Federation continued on Saturday when she visited Huntingdon WI . Emma, pictured here with Liz Butterworth - President.

Members enjoyed a fantastic demonstration from Helen, who showed them how to make a reusable Tote Bag in just one hour.

One member added a lovely personal touch by creating her bag from a T-Shirt decorated by her daughter - making it both practical and full of special memories.

A great example of creativity, learning and making the most of what we already have - and most importantly - lots of fun!

Thank you to everybody who has knitted and crocheted such fabulous poppies.

We are now seeking volunteers to come in on Wednesday 7th October from 10:00 - 13:00 at the WI Centre to attach them to the display. We'll provide plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits to fuel your sewing.
