The swimming season got off to an amazing start this weekend for HASC!

We had 7 swimmers attend the North District Sprints Championships

10 Finals were made between 5 swimmers

On Sunday we had our mini meet gala at Garioch

For three of our swimmers this was their first gala and they smashed it!

Well done to Elsie Grant ,Oliver Higginbottom and Holly Robertson you did amazing 👏

We had 8 swimmers and every swimmer swam new personal bests times and even picked up so medals.

Their was great team spirit and they all behaved excellent and did HASC proud.

Huntly ASC swimmers had a busy time competing near the end of the swim season.

5 squads competed at the Scottish schools team event representing The Gordon Schools with the 14/15 mixed squad faring best with 2 x 4th place finishes in the 200m fc and 200 lM relays.

The Scottish schools championships were held the following day and 5 swimmers qualified for 8 finals from The Gordon Schools and The Gordon Primary.

Our coach Lindsay was away competing in Glenrothes at the Swim IT Master's Competition.

Lindsay took part in the 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle, 100m breastroke and 100m IM and picked up 2 silver medals🥈🥈and 2 bronze medals🥉🥉 👏

Huntly ASC had 8 swimmers travel to the sports village in Aberdeen for the Dyce long course meet.

Thank you so much to Aberdeenshire Clubsport SCIO for awarding our club a grant of £231.60 to purchase 25 new pull bouys!

This is very much appreciated and will help all our swimmers with many drill practices to help improve their stroke techniques and will be put to great use!
