FA YOUTH CUP!

The Youth team have their FA Youth Cup fixture this evening over at Wythenshawe FC! I know it would mean a lot to the boys to have your support and play in front of a great crowd!

Entry is £5 Adults, £3 Concessions and £2 u16s.

It would be great to see some of you there!

🔴⚫ 2 WINS FROM 2 FOR HYDE UNITED U10s! 🔴⚫

It’s two wins out of two for our Hyde United U10s MYSL team after a fantastic victory over Precision FC Santos! ⚽️🔥

Hyde started the game with high tempo and intensity, and it didn’t take long for that pressure to pay off.

The opening goal came from a brilliant team move. Dan played the ball into midfield to Bobby, who switched play out wide to Oscar. Oscar then delivered a great cross into the box, finding Luka K, who took a couple of attempts at goal before finally finding the back of the net to give Hyde the lead. 🔥

It wasn’t long before Hyde doubled their advantage. Another dangerous delivery from Oscar, this time from a corner, found the run of Luka K, who got the crucial touch and guided the ball into the bottom corner. Hyde! ⚽️⚽️

Precision pulled one back late in the first half from a free kick, leaving Hyde with a lead at the break.

The second half proved to be a real test, with Hyde coming under pressure from Precision and having to work hard defensively. But once again, a set piece provided the breakthrough.

Oscar delivered another dangerous corner, driving the ball low into the box where Torin produced a brilliant flick with the outside of his left foot, sending the ball into the bottom corner. Hyde! What a finish! 👏🔥

Precision continued to push and were awarded a penalty, which they converted to make it to setting up a tense finish.

Hyde continued to create chances, with Oscar going close and free kicks from Oliver, Jude and Luca B narrowly missing the target.

Then came the moment that sealed the win. 🏆

A fantastic counter-attack started with Shio playing the ball into Luka K, who sprayed it across to Dan. Dan drove forward before finding Luca B, who then picked out Tommy down the right-hand side.

Tommy got his shot away and, although the keeper managed to parry it, Jude was quickest to react, following up to smash the ball into the back of the net and make it ⚽️🔥

From there, Hyde saw the game out to secure another fantastic victory.

U12 girls vs Richmond Rovers kicked off there campaign today with a 4-2 victory

Hyde United Under-10s made a fantastic start to their MYSL league campaign with an exciting 5–3 victory over Pro Peaks.

Hyde started the game playing at a fast tempo, putting Pro Peaks under pressure and creating plenty of problems with their attacking football. The early pressure eventually paid off when Dan opened the scoring, finishing a chance created by Oscar to give Hyde a deserved 1–0 lead.

Despite Hyde’s strong start, Pro Peaks battled back and managed to pull a goal back to level the score at 1–1.

Hyde soon restored their lead with a brilliant team move. Playing out from the back, Shio found Luka, who played the ball into midfield to Luca. Luca then found Jude, who laid the ball back perfectly to Luka. Without hesitation, Luka unleashed a thunderbolt into the top corner to make it 2–1.

Hyde took their lead into half-time after an entertaining first half.

The boys started the second half in similar fashion and soon added a third goal following another excellent move from the back. Luka started the attack before finding Torin in midfield. Torin played the ball wide to Oliver, who delivered a dangerous cross into the box for Tommy to finish and make it 3–1.

After the third goal, Hyde took their foot off the gas slightly, and Pro Peaks capitalised. They scored twice in quick succession to bring the game back level at 3–3, setting up a tense finish.

However, Hyde showed great character and got themselves back into gear. A passing move between Luka and Dan at the back found Jude in midfield. Jude played the ball to Oliver, who cleverly flicked it around his defender and out to Torin. Torin then timed a perfect cross along the box for Oscar, who was there to put the ball into the back of the net and give Hyde a 4–3 lead.

Hyde weren’t finished there. Torin was the provider once again, this time from the left, picking out Jude, who produced a lovely finish to score

A brilliant first outing in the league for the boys, showing some fantastic passing football, great attacking play and, most importantly, plenty of character to respond after Pro Peaks had fought their way back into the game. A great win and an excellent start to the MYSL campaign! ⚽👏
