It’s about time I introduce myself again, as it’s been a while and there are a few new faces here! So hi, I’m Sophie and I run Yoga Classes from the beautiful private studio space of , which is my other half’s Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation business. Yoga is my little side-hustle, as I also work full time, so I know how it feels to be slumped over a desk all day like many of my students! 💻
I have a background in contemporary dance, which comes through in my sequencing and movement style. I began practicing yoga nearly 10 years ago and fell in love with Vinyasa Flow, as it almost felt like dance, but on a more personal level - offering a chance to really focus on how I felt, whilst being surrounded by the amazing energy of others.
🧘🏻♀️ I take influence from my Hatha, Vinyasa & Mandala teacher trainings, as well as my dance experience, to create super freeing feel good flows, where creativity and playfulness is encouraged. Each movement is linked to the breath enabling you to find presence in the moment. My mission is to teach classes that make your heart sing; a safe space to come and feel empowered, to fall in love with your body and what it can achieve.
I invite you to use our beautiful space as escapism from the outside world. A time to focus on you and improve not only your physical health, but your mental wellbeing too 🤍
Classes are small, friendly and inclusive, with each student being nurtured and cared for on a personal level

On Tuesday evening, I taught a private lesson for a lovely family friend who is a complete beginner to yoga. She leads a busy, stressful, high pressure life and feels as if she’s constantly thinking about what’s next.
One thing that’s stuck with me since our class, is the way she kept commenting on how good all of our stretches felt and how relaxed she could feel her mind and body becoming. After just 15 minutes, she felt the tension in her shoulders ease away and I could noticably see a huge difference. It was almost like watching a block of hard chocolate melt into gorgeous fluidity.
Yoga isn’t just for your body, it’s for your mind too. When we leave our worries at the door, come to our breath and find complete presence in the moment, we shift into a completely new state 💭
If this can happen to this lovely lady in just 15 minutes, imagine how much change can be created through a weekly practice!
Yoga is pure magic and elevates so many lives.

Juicy flows to work into the body and encouragement to be playful with freedom in your movement, with a focus on hip opening asanas - a place that can often hold emotions.
