🛍️ ONE WEEK TO GO! 🚗

Next Sunday, 27th September, we'll be opening the gates for our next Ilkley Cricket Club Car Boot Sale.

If you're a bargain hunter, this is your reminder to set the alarm! ⏰

🚗 Seller entry:
Cars – £10
Side-on cars – £12
Vans – £12–£15 depending on size

👛 Buyer entry:
Pedestrians – £1
Children – FREE
Cars with 1 occupant – £1
Cars with 2+ occupants – £2

And you don't need to worry about coming hungry – our volunteers will be serving bacon and sausage sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and light snacks throughout the morning. 🥓☕

Toilets are also available, including a disabled toilet.

On behalf of ourselves and everyone at Ilkley Cricket Club we’d like to wish James, Sammy and their children the very best of luck with their move to New Zealand.

It was fitting to see James sign off in style on Saturday, scoring a brilliant 47* to help keep Addingham 2s in the 5th Division. A typically determined James innings and a great way to finish!

James has been a fantastic servant to both Ilkley and Addingham over the years. Having started his junior cricket at Addingham, he has gone on to represent the two clubs an incredible 288 times, making a huge contribution both on and off the field. We’ve also been lucky enough to get to know Sammy along the way, who has become just as much a part of the cricket club family.

There have been plenty of highlights over the years. For Addingham, the standout has to be James finally getting his first 1st XI hundred away at Bardsey a couple of seasons ago — a milestone that had been a long time coming! For Ilkley, it’s hard to look past his unbeaten 55 against Adel, where he dug in, did things the James way and helped steer the 1st XI to a big win.

James and Sammy have been great friends to both clubs and will be a huge miss, both around the ground and in the changing room. We’re sure New Zealand has plenty of adventures in store, and hopefully James can find a cricket club over there that will put up with him!

We hope you have an amazing time, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We are pleased to announce that the venue, dates, and times have now been confirmed for the 2026 Ilkley Cricket Club End of Season Awards Dinner.

After a fantastic event last year, we will once again be holding our annual awards dinner at the Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley. Please see below for details of the event.

There will be more information, and details for purchasing tickets to be announced in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!
