This month/year, Evolve turns 4.

We’ve been through our ups and downs, changed our name, moved venues and had plenty of challenges along the way — but what has always stayed the same is the love I have for our community.

You are honestly some of the most amazing people you could ever meet — welcoming, kind, funny, supportive and just a bloody brilliant bunch.

One of the most rewarding parts for me is seeing new members come through the door, find their place and start to shine. Watching people grow in confidence, get stronger and realise what they’re capable of is exactly why I do this.

This birthday feels a little more significant, and it feels important to say a huge thank you to every single person who has ever walked through those doors and been part of Evolve. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’ve only just joined us — you’re part of what makes this place what it is.

I may have missed the boat on celebrating the actual birthday… but if you know me, you’ll know that’s absolutely fine! 😂

Our amazing, beautiful friend will be making one of her incredible cakes for our Christmas party, so I hope you’ll all come along and celebrate with us. 🎂🎄

Here’s to another year of Evolve — a small, independent gym business that’s still here, still growing and still surviving.

And most importantly, still surrounded by the best community I could ask for. There are so many of you not on these photos but I hope Xmas is will be different 👌

THE BEGINNING IS ALWAYS TODAY.

As we head into September, the mornings get darker, the evenings get shorter and, if we’re not careful, it becomes very easy to start putting things off until “next year”.

But there are still 4 months left of 2026.
Four months to make progress.
Four months to get stronger.
Four months to build better habits.
Four months to chase the things you said you wanted to achieve.

This is our Evolve PB Board — and while it might not be overflowing this month, every name, every number and every achievement on it represents someone who decided to push themselves and see what they were capable of.

And that could be you.

Your PB doesn’t have to be a huge lift or a dramatic transformation. It could be an extra rep, a heavier weight, a faster time, your first pull-up, your first class back, or simply doing something you once thought you couldn’t.

So as we head into the final few months of the year, ask yourself:

What do I still want to achieve?
What am I capable of if I stay consistent?
What could I put on that board before Christmas?

Don’t wait for January to start again.

Your next chapter can start today.

June & July Appreciation Post

I completely forgot to do a June appreciation post, so this one’s for both June and July!

These months can always be a little challenging. Holidays are booked, the kids are off school, routines change, and sometimes motivation starts to dip. It happens to the best of us.

But despite all of that, our Evolve community has continued to show up, put in the work, and support one another.

Over the last couple of months we’ve celebrated some incredible PBs, watched confidence grow, seen members hit goals they once thought were out of reach, and welcomed new faces into the community. Every class, every session and every bit of effort adds up.

Progress doesn’t always come easy. There are days when you don’t feel like training, when life gets in the way, or when results seem slow. But if there’s one thing these past two months have shown, it’s that consistency beats perfection every single time.

To every single member – whether you’ve hit a massive milestone, quietly turned up week after week, or are just starting your journey – thank you. Your commitment, encouragement and positivity are what make Evolve Fitness such a special place.

Keep showing up. Keep believing in yourself. The results will always speak for themselves.

Our May PB board filled up with achievements from members who showed up, trusted the process, and pushed themselves beyond what they thought possible.

From first-time lifts to huge weight increases, every name on this board represents dedication, consistency, and courage.

Some of these numbers may look small to others, but every single PB tells a story of early mornings, hard sessions, determination, and resilience.

As coaches, nothing makes us prouder than seeing our members grow in confidence and realise they’re capable of more than they imagined.

Apologies for the late post, but our wee gym community has been busy smashing all sorts of goals lately 🔥

From running events and bike races to PBs in the gym, March and April have been seriously impressive, and our April achievement board is packed 👏

At Evolve, we’re incredibly proud of every single member for consistently showing up, working hard, and pushing themselves in and out of classes. The effort everyone puts in never goes unnoticed — and it’s amazing to see it paying off 💪

The support, atmosphere, and community we’ve built together is what makes this place special 🖤

I didn’t open this gym just for fitness — I opened it for people.

For anyone who’s ever felt out of place, unsure where to start, or like they had to do it all alone. This is a space where all abilities, all backgrounds, and all walks of life come together.

It’s welcoming. It’s supportive. It’s real.

Because life gets tough. And on the hard days, sometimes all you need is a friendly face, a quick chat, or someone reminding you that you’re stronger than you think.

Here, no one trains alone.Here, we lift each other up.

That’s what makes the tough days worth it. That’s what this community is built on. 💛

December finished with a bang — a crackin month for personal bests, confidence gains, and proving (again) that consistency always wins.

This place isn’t just about lifting weights — it’s about people backing themselves, supporting each other, and becoming stronger inside and out.
