Just out at a local farmer, new fendt going onto freertk (saving the 600 "discount" price he was quoted from a popular provider). While I was there, set the sprayer up to use same via his phone, so that saves a subscription and a SIM card. And will do the other fendt and the Massey some time soon. Quite a saving in total !
Better in your pocket, folks ! Looking to save a fortune, send me a message and I'll advise. All free and if you're nearby I might even set it up for you for nothing.
Free RTK
Trying to get a network of free RTK base stations up and running in the Highlands. Of course, this can be done anywhere, so open to everyone, everywhere.
This is for corrections only - not unlocking your machinery. Check this guide for how to set up your own free rtk station: https://github.com/lansalot/FreeRTK/blob/main/README.md

Back from Belladrum, couple of hours fieldwork with an NH combine enjoying the agOpenGPS straight line goodness, until a puncture brought things to a temporary end. Then a quick return to a Case combine I'd looked at earlier, to bring a moisture sensor to life.
Not a bad day! Turriff Show tmrw, if it's still on, kit an amazone sprayer for GPS so it can do its own section control, and possibly autosteer a fendt and an Arion. Busy busy for the next couple days !
