Once again we see Merkinch Primary School take the lead and win the NFL Flag Highland championship. I would like to say a big well done to all the players of the Primary 7 squad (Red tops) who took the win and to the Primary 6 squad (Blue tops) who put up an amazing fight for the top spot aswell! Thank you for all the support from Family and Friends who made it down to the event aswell ❤️

Merkinch NFL Flag’s 2025 season over and out 🫡🏈

2025 is the 3rd year of NFL Flag at Official Merkinch Primary School and was by far the best year we have had so far as a team and we look forward to improving this and having more years of fun filled activities and events!

Game Day! We now head off to the University of Leeds to try bring back the title of NFL Flag UK Champions to Official Merkinch Primary School.

Just 1 Day Left until Official Merkinch Primary School Scottish Champions take on teams from across the UK to try and secure there title as British Champions!

WE ARE BACK!
Merkinch Flag Football will be coming back today after school 3pm - 4pm. These training sessions will now be preparing us for the NFL Flag games (Date Unknown Right Now). If your child is interested in playing please get them to speak to Mr Mathie. Any questions feel free to message us!

2023 / 2024 INFORMATION

PLAYERS 13 AND OVER
Any players turning 13 this year and going to be going into highschool is able to play in the Highland Wildcat's HACL. The HACL is an American Football League that schools in Inverness will play against each other then this will lead into playing for the Highland Wildcats. For information and details keep an eye out on the Highland Wildcats page.

PLAYERS 13 AND UNDER
Any Players looking to stay and play for Merkinch Flag Football we will be running sessions at both Inverness High School and Official Merkinch Primary School. We don't currently know the dates and time however keep an eye on our page for updates!
