There's a huge difference!
The most important step when putting baby in a sling or carrier is positioning them correctly.
Before you start spreading passes or pulling up panels, you need to allow baby to settle into their natural position. For a newborn or young baby it will look like the right pic. Body curved round you, head on tbe flat of your chest and legs curled up in a squat.
How baby settles and relaxes in arms is how you want them to sit in the sling. We are not fitting baby in the sling or carrier, we are fitting the sling or carrier round baby on your body. This way babys natural position is supported making it much comfier for baby and your body.
If baby looks like the pic on the left then you may find..
* You need to support babys head
* Babys legs will hit your tummy or thighs
* Baby is unsettled
* You feel strain on your back
If you are unsure about the fit and want to make sure you are getting the best out your carrier then book in.
Lets get you and baby safe and comfy.
Share this for your other babywearing pals to see.
