Straight sets of 10 have their place, especially when starting out.
But if you’ve been training a while now and are looking to challenge yourself a little more, drop sets, supersets and rest-pause sets are simple ways to increase training intensity, add variety to your workouts and push past plateaus without spending hours in the gym.
The approach isn't to throw them all in, along with the kitchen sink, for every set of every exercise - used at the right time across your sessions they can take your training to the next level.
