An entire sea of water cannot sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. The negativity of the world cannot keep you down & sink you unless you let it inside.

Its important that your athletes know their weak points and as a Coach you must identify their faults BUT IF ALL YOU EVER DO is tell your athletes what they do wrong, or even worse don't give them any positive in-depth feedback then you are a huge reason as to why your athletes are not performing or progressing. Many coaches think its 'Hard Core' or 'Coach Like' to be emotionless, over critical and judge-like when working with talent, this is a negative approach and you will see a decline in your teams performance, team moral and a decrease in your athletes self-belief in the long run. Don't be part of the problem, Inspire your athletes and give them self belief.

It means more to me as Coach to create world class people over having world class fighters. Winning medals on the mat is amazing but having success in your personal life and becoming a beautiful person with a good attitude is my number one priority. You can win all the titles under the sun but if everyone dislikes you and you have a terrible personal life than you are losing, not winning. It gives me unlimited joy seeing my athletes develop into amazing people with a strong positive attitude, lots of drive and a hunger to attain greatness. With this kind of mind set in place, seeing success on the mats is almost inevitable.
