Back in December we sent Michael to Taiwan to visit the centre of the global bike industry. Almost every component and frame you’ve ever ridden was manufactured on this island, situated in the heart of it all is Da Bomb Bikes, since 1998! Every aspect of product development and manufacture is led by the family operated team, it’s a wonder to behold!

FULL TIME APPRENTICE BIKE AND SUSPENSION MECHANIC POSITION, £13 per hour on a 41 hour week, rising to £15 per hour after the first year of training is complete.

We’re looking for a passionate bike rider looking to develop a career in bike mechanics and put to practice all of their skills in our busy workshop in the heart of the Highlands.

From general repairs to suspension servicing, wheel building and everything between, we will provide training across every aspect of bike and suspension servicing, tuning and repair.

From daily service work in our Inverness workshop to event and race day mechanics, workshop time for your own repairs, trade account access and much more, take as much from this role as you want to put in!
