On Friday 21st August, Inverness played a friendly match against Kings Golf Club. It is always an enjoyable match against the Kings Ladies and this was no exception. The course was in great condition and the ladies were very welcoming and friendly. Each match was closely contested but Inverness came out on top, winning 3-1. The event was rounded off with an excellent meal. Thank you, Kings , for being wonderful hosts. We look forward to hosting you next year. Congratulation to the Inverness team – Lindsay, Vicki, Barbara, Hilary, Ruth U, Carola, Linda and June – very well played!

The weather was kind for the Simpsons Garden Centre Open on Saturday. Congratulations to all the prize winners. Special congratulations to Summer Elliot who won the scratch competition and the Ladies Open Salver, to Moira Gordon who won the Anne Tolmie Salver and Ilona Warburton who won the Cameron Quaich.
A big thanks to Simpsons for their generous sponsorship of the competition and for the lovely flowers they provided in the foyer. Thank you to Janice and Liz in the starters hut and to all the players who competed on the day.
