As well as offering excellent facilities for outdoor bowling, the club offers short mat facilities during the winter months. There is a fully stocked bar with Tennents lager and Belhaven Best on draught, open Monday - Saturday 7pm til late and Sundays on request and during competitions. Amazing what a difference a year can make. Our grant from Garioch Areas Initiative Fund allowed our sprinklers to be replaced and with all this warm weather the new sprinklers have certainly made all the difference in keeping the bowling green beautifully green compared to the previous year. A big shout out also to all those who folks who have helped to look after and maintain the green.

The club is saddened of the passing of Babs Jaffrey last week. Babs was a friend to many on the bowling green and will be sadly missed by all at the club. A true Legend and such a wonderful person. Our thoughts are with all the family 🫶🧡😢

Suddenly but peacefully, at home, on Sunday, July 19, 2026, after a short illness, Barbara Lumsden (nee Whyte), aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Denis, much loved mum of Allan, Denise, Brian and Steven, a loving mother-in-law, granny, great-granny, sister, auntie and a dear friend to many. Funeral service at St Andrew’s Parish Church, Inverurie, on Friday, July 31, at 11.00am, thereafter to Inverurie Old Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, if desired, in aid of Cancer Research UK, at the church door.
