The 2026 season may now have ended, but whether you are an existing member or wish to try the sport, all are welcome to attend our indoor hat nights on Tuesday & Wednesday at 7pm, or afternoons on Thursday at 2pm. Kemnay Social & Bowling Club (hereafter; KBC) was established in 1923 and has continued to be a staple of the Kemnay community not only because of the popular Bowling Green, but also due to the Social side of the club - a fully licensed bar resulting in many a good night after a game of bowls; both indoor or outdoor. Anyone wishing further details on membership can contact our President, Lee Aitken on 07434 291057 or [email protected]. The club is also available for functions and anyone wishing to enquire about booking a function is asked to contact Lee, as above.

Our next Bingo Night is on Saturday 26 September, per the poster below. 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Over-18s only. Usual format.

🎉 SEASON 2026 🎉

After a good weekend of bowling, the season ended yesterday, so thank you to all members who have done their bit throughout, and to all those who have supported the club.

With around half our membership in attendance on Friday night, it seemed the perfect opportunity to capture us all, before the season drew to a close yesterday.

Indoor bowling starts tomorrow evening at 7pm, along with Wednesdays at 7pm and Thursdays at 2pm.

The page will likely be quieter in the winter months, but to those who don't attend the indoor season, we look forward to seeing you again in the spring.

🎉 ED CHRISTIE TRIPLES - WINNERS 🎉

Today saw the Closing of the Green - Ed Christie Triples - take place, on what was a rather fine day to end the season. Congratulations go to Vi Taylor, Jim Duffus and Kieran Jack, who came out on top against Graeme Marshall, John Kinsella and Lee Aitken, in a well-played, competitive final.

🎉 JOCK TAYLOR 3-BOWL PAIRS - WINNERS 🎉

Our last floodlight competition of the season took place last night, and saw 28 members take to the Green.

Our winners, building on their success from the night before, were Cate Stewart and Lee Aitken, after a competitive final against Linda Grant and Richard Johnston, which finished around 12.30am.

Well done to you both, once again! 👏

🎉 CLUB PAIRS - WINNERS 🎉

Tonight saw our last 'board' competition final, with the culmination of the Club Pairs. Winners this evening were Cate Stewart and Lee Aitken who led throughout, overcoming Linda Grant and Sean Aitken.

🎉 JIM HILL SINGLES - WINNER 🎉

Another night, another final. Tonight saw the semi-finals and final of the Jim Hill Singles, in which Brian Cheyne triumphed to take the title.

The semi-finals saw both Brian and Lee Aitken progress to the final, beating Michael Williams and Kieran Jack respectively. As with Brian's semi-final game, he played his socks off and took both sets for the win.

Well done to Jim Grant on winning the Senior Singles this afternoon, coming out on top against Brian Cheyne, in a well-contested final played in blustery conditions.

🎉 TONIGHT'S WINNERS 🎉

Tonight saw two finals taking place on the Green.

Firstly, congratulations to Cate Stewart, Siobhan Hay & Zoe Hay on winning the Margaret Nicol Triples. With the shots being tied going into the last end, they came out on top against Linda Grant, Mark Hay & Richard Johnston.

And secondly, congratulations to Ewan Fraser & Sean Aitken, who overcame Brian Cheyne & Arthur Wiseman in the Gents Pairs Final.

🎉 ADLBA UNDER-18 SINGLES - WINNER 🎉

Congratulations to Zoe Hay on her win today, at the ADLBA Finals Day, as Under-18 Singles Champion. This adds to her other wins this season as Craigie Ladies Champion of Champions, and the Benachie Junior Singles Champion.

It's our first season as part of the ADLBA. Having reached the semi finals stage of both the Top 10 Pairs and also the Mixed Triples, we're definitely making our mark.
