COMING UP THIS WEEK...

Despite us nearing the end of July, there is still plenty action. This week, it's all away from home as follows:-

TUESDAY - The ladies are away at Newmachar in the last Craigie Ladies match before the play-off stages. All to play for as they currently sit within the top four of the league table.

WEDNESDAY - The gents are away at Pitmedden for the semi-final of the Top 10.

FRIDAY - The ADLBA Mixed Triples quarter-final against Balgownie B, takes place at Newhills.

SUNDAY - The Forbes Hendry Final at Newmachar see both our Ladies and Gents play (against Balgownie and Huntly respectively). It's a 2pm start and all spectators are welcome to come along and support.

GEORGE EWAN PAIRS - WINNERS

Congratulations to the pairs combination of Cate Stewart and Ewan Fraser, who overcame the duo of Stevie Summers and Roy Lingard to win last night’s competition.

Despite the evening being rather smoky to begin with, a bit damp and the final concluding around 1.20am, an enjoyable evening was had by all.

KEMNAY MIXED FOURS TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to the winners of our annual Mixed Fours Tournament - Insch Bowling Club. They overcame Newhills Bowling Club in the final to secure the win.

A big thank you to all clubs who supported us by attending and donating raffle prizes. To the members - from kitchen staff to bar staff, raffle sellers to umpires (and everyone in between) - enormous thanks for your time and effort in assisting throughout the day.

Congratulations to our winners today - Pamela Grant, Linda Grant and Richard Johnston, who won 5 out of their 6 games, topping the table with 10 points and a shot difference of +18.

Tomorrow, 21 players take to the Green for our next internal day competition. Teams are per the below. 9.45am for a 10am start. And the forecast makes for a decent day of bowling! ⛅️
