There were 13 dedicated bowlers who attended the June Medal tonight. Last week was sadly cancelled due to the weather and for a while, tonight looked like it might end up the same! However, despite the dark clouds, it did stay dry for us.
Well done to Richard Johnston and Lorraine Fox, who had a mammoth winning score of +28.
The Benachie League continues tomorrow evening, with a home game against Pitmedden.

Congratulations to Arthur Wiseman and Mark Hay for winning today’s Frank Reid Pairs. They beat Cate Stewart and Sylvia Wood in the final, with a score of 11-1.

Kemnay produced a strong all-round performance to secure a convincing 65-38 victory over Newmachar.
The Kemnay side set the tone early, with Kieran, Michael and Andy recording an impressive 20-12 win. Sean, Mark and Lee were involved in the closest contest of the eveining, narrowly going down 10-9 in a tight encounter.
Further success followed as Siobhan, Stevie Summers and Stevie Fox controlled their rink to claim an 18-9 victory, while Graham Coutts, Roy Lingard and Ewan Fraser completed the scoring with a dominant 18-7 win.
Winning on three of the four rinks and posting a 27-shot overall advantage, Kemnay ran out deserved winners by 65 shots to 38.
Attention now turns to Scottish competition action tonight.
At Kemnay, Sylvia Wood takes on Anne Cheyne in the Senior Singles, while at Kintore, the rink of Sean Aitken, Billy Thom, Ewan Fraser and Liam Thom face Westhill in the Semi-Final.
Both games get underway at 7pm and any support for our players would be greatly appreciated.

A quieter start to the week at the club, however we do host the Scottish Mixed Pairs semi-finals this evening.
There is no Craigie Ladies match this week, but tomorrow night is medal night, 7pm start and open to all members.
And finally, this week’s Benachie League match on Wednesday is away to Newmachar.

Singles - Zoe Hay takes on Lucy Willox (Harlaw) at Harlaw at 10am.
Pairs - Elaine Mitchell and Sylvia Wood are up against Carol Johnston and Cheryl North (Harlaw) at Kemnay at 10am.
Triples - Linda Grant, Amanda Hay and Anne Cheyne take on Lorraine Milne, Mary Bain and Shirley Christie (Ellon) at Rothienorman at 10am.
Will any of them make it to semi finals in the afternoon?
