I’m selling the mighty sprinter! (2014c LWB, high roof, full camper conversion, 4 seats with belts, shower, toilet, double bed, kitchen, fridge, etc. )
220,000 miles, full service history, no rust (it’s been painted 3 colours now so it’s well protected) !
Full years MOT, always had oil changes at 1/2 the service interval, fresh pads all round.
It broke down for the first time on me coming to France last time, turns out it’s an injector, so that’s getting done now.
Also will have new turbo oil feed pipes, has a new alternator.
New prop shaft about 4 years ago (the bearings die, but it’s good for another 150k now) and fitted a new steering rack this year.
Genuinely solid van, I’ll miss it, perfect bike / weekend camper. I’ve used it for every race and event in the last 6 years.
It’s remapped, no DPF or EGR issues etc. drives super nice too.
Long and short is that it’s been well used but had everything it’s ever needed and has many many miles left in it. I’ll sorely miss it but the truth is I have no need for it at all here in France and I can’t be arsed registering it here either (I’m doing that with the Porsche now and it’s a pain in the arse)
I’m looking for 7k but if anyone is seriously interested just message me and we can have a chat. Plate can go with the van, I don’t need or care for it now.
Van is in France - but I’m taking it back to the UK at the end of October

What can I say?
Lots probably… but I’ll keep it brief.
Thank you.
If you’ve been a customer, supplier, worked with me or supported me through the Bike Bothy journey - then Thanks - you all know who you are. Couldn’t have done any of it without you! ❤️
If you’ve been unsupportive, then thanks too! You made me work harder - I might have given up otherwise 😘
Locking up for the last time today was bittersweet, it’s been a sick journey and I am so excited to see what Fergus does with but I can’t say it wasn’t sad!
Keep riding, keep smiling and keep on keeping on.
I’m ready to get back to France, ride bikes, walk dogs and spend time with C.
Who knows… I might even do some work at some point ! (Steady…baby steps!)

Our stunning shop in Monymusk is set to close at the end of May and the beautiful building will be available to rent from the estate.
It has modern lighting a comprehensive alarm system (currently monitored), outside bike wash, a small kitchen, toilet and store room along with an office on the second floor and lots of space on the ground floor for whatever it will become after we leave.
This building was originally constructed in the 1200-1300’s and was at that time used as a place for Millstones to be polished, it later became the old episcopal church and the history of the Grant family runs through it.
We’ve used it as a bike shop, social space and a home for our retail, hire, coaching and guiding business for a little over 3 years now, along the way we’ve also used it as a refuge for the villagers during the storms, provided hot food, water and a good heat by the fire for those who were in need.
We would love to see someone take this building on and keep it warm !

It’s clearance time!
We intend on being out of the shop by the end of next week, so everything that Fergus isn’t taking must go!
We’ve got so much accumulated bike shop and general shop fittings stuff over the years and most of it must go.
We’ve also got a couple of bikes left that I’m open to offers on, guide price in the pictures.

Continuing on, this week we have
Finn is another local Aberdeenshire shredder. A regular at the SDA's and local enduros, he has also been working on and off in the bike shop developing his skills as a mechanic. But ultimately Finn is always just looking to get out and have fun on his bike.

Next in the lineup for our 2024 riders is Ross
If he is not behind a camera, you'll find Ross ripping it up on Aberdeenshire's local enduro trails and he is also not one to shy away from a big mountain epic.
Ross is unreal behind the camera, not only is he able capture some of Scotland's natural beauty but also some great action shots of our riders and we are super excited to have him on board for the 2024 season.

Our riders for the 2024 support programme have been chosen!
It was a unbelievably tough to pick just 3 riders from over 30 applicants 🤯
We settled on 5 overall on Friday then come Saturday we made it 6, the quality of applicants was amazing to see and I have no doubt we will be seeing some results in years to come from some of those we had to turn down 🤯
We will introduce you to the 2024 supported riders later this week, but for now THANK YOU for all of your applications.
