Inverurie Golf Club

This morning we visited the guys at Inspire By Inverurie to give the donation that was raised at our Charity Open in June. We raised £1000 at the open and .walker.351 and the team were absolutely delighted with what we had raised.

PRIDE OF INVERURIE AWARDS NOMINIATION🎉

We are delighted to share that our Junior Organisers, Connor Killoh and Michael Kelman, have been nominated for a Pride of Inverurie Award in recognition of their outstanding contribution to junior golf at Inverurie Golf Club.

Through their dedication, enthusiasm and tireless work, Connor and Michael have helped build one of the most successful junior sections in the region. The section is now thriving at full capacity with 225 junior members and an ever-growing waiting list, demonstrating the strength and appeal of the programme they have developed. The section has also enjoyed success in local, regional and national competitions, proudly representing both the club and wider community.

A particular highlight for the pair has been the growth of our girls' section, which now boasts 29 members and has been recognised nationally by Scottish Golf as one of the leading girls' golf programmes in the country.

Beyond the impressive numbers and achievements, Connor and Michael have created a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where young people of all ages, genders, and abilities can develop their golfing skills, whilst being able to build their confidence socially.

Congratulations once again Connor and Michael on this well-deserved nomination. We wish you all the best at the Pride of Inverurie Awards Evening, taking place in August.
