JUNIOR FELICITY - Inverallochy Golf Club (A)

Inverurie Juniors travelled to Inverallochy for their first leg of the 2nd Round tie in the Felicity Trophy.

A superb 5–3 away victory in challenging conditions against a strong opponent, with all matches played in great spirit throughout.

A big thank you to Inverallochy for the game and their hospitality — we look forward to welcoming you to Inverurie for the return leg.

On June 6th we will be hosting our Charity Open . This year the open will be held in aid of Inspire By Inverurie

Team 1 faced Stonehaven this weekend, looking to maintain their unbeaten record as we move beyond the half way point in the season.

A good victory in a closely contested match. Thanks to Stonehaven Golf Club for the game, and good luck for the rest of the season. Credit to the travelling group who represented their club very well.

DUNDERDALE CUP 2026
The annual adults versus juniors matchplay competition took place last night in memory of the late Harry Dunderdale. Harry, who dedicated many hours to the junior section and was admired by many around the club, sadly passed away in 2021. The Auld GITS kindly donated a trophy to the section after his passing to honour his hard-work and dedication.

The juniors have retained the trophy for the 4th year in a row, after a tightly contested 9-1 victory over the adults! The less said about the result the better…

The Field family, who have been such a huge part of our junior section since its reintroduction, are unfortunately moving across the pond to Houston. We’d like to thank the whole family for their time, commitment, and dedication to our juniors over the years, and we wish them all the very best as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Both sides faced Cruden Bay yesterday, with team 1 playing at home and team 2 playing away.

First dropped points for both sides this season as they came up against impressive Cruden Bay sides, who all 12 of their players hold single figure handicaps (with the highest yesterday playing off 6.0)! A thanks to Cruden Bay for the game, and well done on the positive results

No fixture this week for Inverurie 1, but Inverurie 2 picked up another victory with a hard-earned win away to Murcar.

A cracking, hard-fought victory for the team today. Great resilience shown throughout with everyone digging in to grind out a result, and the two halved matches proving crucial in the end.

It was another successful weekend for our Junior Pennant teams, with both sides recording back-to-back victories to maintain 100% records.

It has been an excellent opening to the league campaign for both teams, with encouraging performances across the board. A particularly pleasing aspect has been the rotation of the squads, ensuring all our eligible juniors wishing to represent the club do so.
