Oldmeldrum Fire Station

Due to the ever increasing number of rural / remote incidents we are facing, Oldmeldrum Fire Station has been selected to trial this first-of-a-kind, 'Agri Utility Appliance'. Boasting a top speed of 32mph, and the ability to reach the most remote and inaccessible locations this unit will be a welcome addition. We took delivery yesterday, and can't wait to put her through her paces!

Folks, what can we say... It's never quite going to be Meldrum, but it's a really close second!! If you live or work in Ellon and fancy a challenge, give the team at Station R29 a shout!! 😉🚒🚨🧯👨‍🚒

Have a good level of physical fitness?
Do you want to learn new skills, broaden your horizons and protect your community?

We are recruiting On Call Firefighters from all different backgrounds. Age isn't a barrier - as long as you can pass the national tests.

All our Firefighters carry a pager and respond to a range of emergency incidents and engage with local communities alongside there main employment.

After an exemplary career spanning 28 gruelling years with unrivalled levels of dedication and graft throughout, this week our very own, firefighter Kenny 'Digger' Grant hung up gear for the very last time!
