RAD Pre-Primary exam yesterday✨

If your child has been entered for a ballet exam, please ensure they have all of the uniform they need including socks/tights as relevant to the grade being taken, correct and well-fitting shoes and belts (Grade 1 upwards).

HEATWAVE UPDATE:

Classes at St Augustine’s have been postponed tonight. The soaring temperatures expected this evening combined with a detailed look at our risk assessments means that we don’t feel we can adequately cool the hall down. Instead, we will start back a week earlier than planned after the summer, on Friday 4th Sept (after most schools have re-opened).

The decision hasn’t been taken lightly but we’re sure all of our customers understand the need to prioritise everyone’s health and safety in this extreme weather.

As temperatures should come back down tomorrow, Saturday’s classes at Westerfield Village Hall will still go ahead.

Impressive turnout so far this week in the heat. We’re using as many fans as we can, keeping blinds closed, drinking lots, resting more and reducing exercise intensity. Currently, we plan to still go ahead with the remaining classes this week - if any changes occur, we’ll notify the relevant parents. Please send your child with at least one full bottle of water. They are also welcome to bring a handheld fan for use during rest periods🌡️

Please remember to send your child to class with plenty of water in this hot weather!☀️☀️

A reminder to those coming to Grade 1 tomorrow (Friday 12th June), the class won’t start until 4:45pm and will run for 30 minutes. Back to usual from next week! 🩰
