Our second Quarter-Finals week comes to a close this evening as the Men’s Fours take to the green, with the last remaining places in the semi-finals up for grabs.

Tonight see's the Men's Triples Quarter Finalists take to the green at The Borough Of Eye BC for a 6:30pm start, in their bid to progress to the Semi Finals!

Quarter Final's Action Continues Tonight!

The second quarter final of the week takes place tonight as the Men's Pairs battle it out for a place in the semi-finals!

Another busy week of Quarter-Finals ahead! 🤩

Tonight we have the Quarter-Finals of the Men's 4 Wood Singles, getting underway at 6:30pm at Ipswich Bowling Club, Graham Road, IP1 3QE.

It's a brilliant line-up with a great mix of experienced players and in-form competitors. One tie in particular sees a repeat of last year's final, adding even more excitement to what promises to be a fantastic evening of bowls!

We've also heard that Ipswich Bowling Club will be offering food this evening, so players and spectators can grab a bite to eat! If you're free this evening, come along and support the players 🤗

Middleton Cup Team 🚨

Suffolk's second game of this year's campaign sees Essex head to Felixstowe & Suffolk BC in what promises to be a closely contested encounter. Fresh from their convincing win over Cambridgeshire and with just one change to the side, Suffolk head into this game full of momentum 💪🏼

Last season, we recorded an excellent victory over Cambridgeshire, defeated our near neighbours Norfolk, and only narrowly lost to Essex on their own green. It is therefore particularly exciting that we will have home green advantage against Essex later this season.

The selection also seeks to reward some of those players who performed strongly in Suffolk County competitions last year. I would therefore like to congratulate Dennis Andrews (Stanton), Adam Frost (Thurlton), and Ipswich Bowling Club's David Andrews and Ryan Hard and Steve Giles (Felixstowe & Suffolk BC) on their selection and Middleton Cup debuts! 👏🏼

Congratulations to all selected players, and we wish the team every success in their opening fixture 🙏🏼

Today we played our first round match in the National Club Two Fours against Haughley BC. After a closely fought match which saw both rinks finish 36-36, we managed to secure victory on the extra end!

We await Felixstowe & Suffolk BC or Norbridge BC in the next round.
