🚨 Introducing the newest member of the WTF Team! 🚨

We're incredibly excited to welcome Sam Hobbs-Lakin to the WTF Combat Apparel team.

Sam is an exceptionally talented photographer and a dedicated purple belt who has become a familiar face within the BJJ community. His passion for the sport goes far beyond the camera. He is a huge advocate for women in jiu-jitsu, consistently showcasing the achievements of female athletes and capturing the intensity, emotion and unforgettable moments of their battles on the mats.

His work helps shine a spotlight on the incredible talent within the women's division, and we're proud to have him joining us on our journey.

We're also proud to announce that Sam is now the official photographer of the WTF Team, and we can't wait for him to capture the next chapter of our athletes, events and community.

Welcome to the team, Sam! We can't wait to create something special together. 📸🥋💜

What an incredible day. 💜

On Sunday, we welcomed over 55 women to our Stone Cold Grips Women's Seminar, and what a day it was.

A huge thank you to every single woman who attended, trained, supported one another, and helped create such an empowering atmosphere from start to finish. Seeing so many women come together to learn, connect, laugh, and celebrate our sport was something truly special.

A massive thank you to our amazing athletes:

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and passion with everyone in attendance. The value you brought to the day was incredible and everyone took something home with them from your sessions.

A special thank you to for leading a fantastic yoga session and helping everyone finish the day feeling refreshed and recharged.

A huge thank you to James Webb and The Combat Institute for hosting us and providing such a welcoming venue. Your support helped make the entire event possible.

And thank you to Nanda for capturing so many incredible moments throughout the day. We can't wait to share more of the memories and highlights from such a special event.

The energy in the room was something truly special. From the sessions, to the conversations, the support, encouragement, and camaraderie shown by every woman in attendance was exactly what this event was all about.

Thank you all for believing in our vision and being part of a day we'll never forget. We are already excited for the next one. 💜

Not every champion looks the same.
Some are mums of five. Some start later in life. Some are balancing training, work, neurodivergence advocacy, and raising children with disabilities and still step onto the mats and win.

Today we want to highlight Elsa. 🖤
A Masters 4 white belt at 52kg, Elsa has achieved:
🥇 British Open Gi 2025
🥇 British Open NoGi 2025
🥇 AllStars Europeans 2026 wearing the WTF Deathmoth Gi
🏆 Ranked No.1 on the AllStars Global White Belt Masters rankings
And she’s done this after training for just over ONE year.

At 47 years old, Elsa proves that it is never too late to start, compete, and achieve incredible things.

Outside of competition, Elsa is also a passionate supporter of neurodivergence awareness through her own experiences, her children, and her work. As a mum to five children with disabilities, her strength goes far beyond medals.
Her children also train BJJ, showing exactly how powerful this sport can be for confidence, resilience, community, and growth.

Through the WTF Initiative, we covered Elsa’s most recent competition entry fees as a way of recognising everything she represents both on and off the mats.

This is what the WTF Initiative is about.
Supporting women in the community where we can and highlighting the incredible stories within the sport.
