OUTDOOR NATIONAL JUNIOR PAIRS CHAMPIONS! 🏆

A huge congratulations from everyone at Ipswich & District Indoor Bowls Club to our very own Joe Sims & Ryan Hard, who have been crowned National Junior Pairs Champions! 🥇

As you can see from the throwback photo, Joe & Ryan have bowled together for years, growing up on the greens at Ipswich Indoor Bowls Club, competing and developing their game side by side. From young bowlers enjoying the sport together to now becoming National Champions - what an incredible achievement! 👏

To see two players who have grown up around our greens achieve something like this is incredibly special, and we couldn’t be prouder of you both!

What a fantastic finish to the Orwell League Mixed Triples season for Ipswich & District Outdoor Bowling Club! 👏

After a brilliant league campaign, we’re delighted to have finished top of the table 💪

Now it’s time for the semi-final play-offs, where we’ll face the Borough of Eye Bowls Club, who finished in second spot of the Stour League.

Bert Edwards Trophy – Quarter Final

This afternoon, the Ipswich & District team travelled to Haughley Bowls Club for the Bert Edwards Trophy Quarter Final 🏆

The team put up a great fight throughout, but unfortunately came up just short, losing out 54–38, a 16-shot deficit.

📸 Meet Amy — IDIBC’s New Social Media Coordinator

Many of you will already know me from growing up around the Suffolk greens, bowling with or against me over the years, or seeing me around the club supporting Mark and our wider family and friends, usually with our one-year-old son Stanley in tow! 👶🏼

Some of you may also know that earlier this season I took over the Suffolk County Bowls BE social media, which I still manage alongside this new role at IDIBC!

Bowls has always been a big part of my life, so being able to help showcase everything happening at IDIBC is something I’m looking forward to. Whether it’s celebrating achievements, promoting upcoming games and events, or sharing photos from around the club, I want our social media to continue to reflect the fantastic community we have!

As always, if you’ve got absolutely anything you’d like to share with the club - whether that be a personal or team achievement, an upcoming fixture, team selections and match results or an event or social gathering...
