Castaways Ladies Hockey

This week, we rounded up the 25/26 season with our AGM and awards night🏆. It was lovely to be back together with our hockey family for the evening of food, drink, laughter and chat.
Congratulations to our award winners;
🏆🏅 Catherine who won Player's player and Top scorer with 38 goals.
🏅 Scarlett who won Most improved.
🏅Karen who won captain's player.
Thank you to for letting us use the beautiful long room to hold our AGM in. Looking forward to summer league starting 12th May.

Great to see one of our Castaways players representing at county level last weekend at the Regional Masters O50s.

Lining up for Suffolk against strong competition from Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. A fantastic showcase of masters hockey, played in great weather and spirit.

Brilliantly hosted at Ipswich Sports Centre, Rushmere, with Suffolk’s team combining members from Felixstowe Hockey Club, Ipswich East Suffolk Hockey Club, Ipswich Hockey Club, Bury St Eds and Harwich. A real reminder of what makes the hockey family so special: competitive on the pitch, but always inclusive and supportive off it.

Well done to everyone involved – a superb weekend all ⭐️
