A fantastic T4 place for our very own Stuart Easton in the Scottish PGA Championship at West Kilbride this week.
Stuart also took the trophy for the leading Assistant Professional in the tournament, for the second year running. His final round pairing was with Alan Tait making an all Irvine duo.
Well done Stuart, and indeed Alan, from us all at the club and best wishes for the remainder of the season.

Just a quick line to thank everyone at Irvine golf club for our visit last Thursday, 21st

On arrival we were warmly greeted by a gentleman in reception, who could not have been more helpful. We were given a tour of the club and told of all the help we needed with our visit.
While having a brew before our round, 2 more members came over to introduce themselves and ask if we needed any assistance, ask where we were from etc. We spent a while chatting and were made to feel very welcome.

The golf course was magnificent. A couple of blind shots and some nice surprises around the greens, but we had a great round on your wonderful course

And then again in the bar after our round we were made to feel very welcome. Members came over to ask us how we enjoyed our game. bar staff were superb, and we had a fantastic day at Irvine . (pity i missed one of my Everton boyhood heros John Conolly though ! )

All in all we had a superb day out at your magnificent club.
Very rare that you get a club so welcoming to visitors, many thanks to everyone at Irvine golf club

Huge congratulations to Mason Chisholm who has taken the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay title with a superb 4&2 win over Findlay Watt at Prestwick Golf Club this evening. In stunning conditions, Mason saw a healthy volume of support from club members.

Mason C is through to the Ayrshire Boys final after a 3&1 semi final win.
Final takes place at Prestwick Golf Club tomorrow from 4.30.
