Wanderers 1-2 Sion Swifts

Our U18 team lost out by a single goal in their first league game tonight. The lads found themselves 1 down early in the first half, after a penalty was awarded for a handball in the box.

The boys responded well however, and scored an equaliser moments later when Charlie Daly lashed home from a corner.

Sion scored their second, and the winner just before half-time after a lost ball in midfield was scored from distance by the Sion player.

MOTM for the Wanderers was Adam Campbell, who put in a commanding performance at the heart of the defence. Well done Adam 👏

Wonderful to see our first U18 team in approximately 9 years play their first competitive game tonight. Well done to our young management duo Jack and Dara, and of course the entire squad 👍🔴⚫️⚽️

A huge congratulations to our youth players Kim, Maggie and Rhea on their fantastic achievement of being selected for the BKYL’s inaugural 2012 Girls Select Team! 👏👏

What a fantastic day had by all at Castlearchdale yesterday evening with girls, coaches and parents.🙌

With 64 girls present and quite a few missing we were ever so proud of all the girls. Girls started off with 2 hours in the water followed by a barbecue prepared by Paul and food donated by our wonderful supportive parents
