The slight South Easterly breeze and cooler temperature had the fish feeding higher in the water today.
William Kelly was tip rod with five with plenty more offers and a few dropped , the fish were caught on a floating line and various Lures and Blobs.

The stiff breeze and heavy rain that has been with us most of the week didn't seem to put the fish off at Haddockston , Neil Guild and Del both had some nice fish today all caught on lures .

The fishery will now be closed on a Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday until further notice.

There are still a few pegs looking for sponsorship for the Foundation day , anybody wanting to donate prizes for the raffle can hand them in at the fishery .

The Winter League will run from October 2026 until March 2027 , there's still a places left if anyone is interested.

The fishing remained steady at Haddockston Water today , Ryan Larkin was top rod with 10 fish , his fly of choice was a Red Head Damsel .
Ryan reported that all of his fish were between 2.8lb and 4lb .

The fishing has picked up over the past few days at Haddockston Water , Stuart Campbell reported landing a fish of around 8lb and big Del had one of easily 6lb .
Ryan Larking did well today landing 7 and dropping 3 and missing as many .
Top flysheet have been Klinkhammers , Cdc's , Daddies and S/ Buzzers .

The Trout fishing has been a touch on the hard side this past few weeks but with the cooler days and nights and some rain the fish are now higher in the water and feeding aggressively little more aggressively
The guys who have taken advantage of our Carp Fishing sessions have reported some good sport and spotting a few monsters

Thats us open again from tomorrow 24th July , water temps are safe and fish were feeding on the surface this afternoon.

Good evening all , water temps was taken tonight at 21.00 and it was 24 which is high enough to cancel tomorrow's fishing .
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone who was thinking on coming along.
