🔴 Johnstone Burgh 4-1 Vale of Leven 🔵

The boys picked up their first league win of the season this afternoon in a superb win over Vale of Leven.

Absolutely delighted for them because in our recent games, the results haven’t reflected the performances that the boys have put in.

Our goalie Riley along with his backline of Cobey, Kelson, Jay, Calum and Mark were excellent, they were well organised, communicated well and dealt with everything that came their way.

The football in the middle of the park from AJ, Mohammad and Riley was great to watch, some lovely one-two’s, quick combinations and movement off the ball.

Up front the boys were a constant threat, Finlay led the line brilliantly with Harris, Lewis and Evan putting in an excellent shift in the attacking areas.

Great to see Fionn back on the pitch after a spell out with injury, he was outstanding for us last season and it gives everyone a massive boost to have him back in the team.

Big mention to Cobey who came on and played in an unfamiliar role as a centre forward and ended up getting his first goal of the season with a great finish late on.
