SENIORS FAMILY DAY

Tomorrow our senior teams take to the pitch for an in-house friendly as the First Team take on the Reserves in what promises to be a great afternoon at the club.

This exhibition match is an important opportunity for the players to get valuable minutes into their legs ahead of the new season, while also giving us the chance to celebrate the community spirit that makes Oakworth FC so special.

Great turn out today for our Charity game!

A lucky 9-0 win for Unathletic FC against Oakworth Juniors FC - Official coaches select.

Lee Mcdowall and Danny McComb will be dreaming about their “almost” worldies for the rest of their days and Matthew Wilson will be living off the one save he made for the rest of his days.

Lee “the fixer” Collins not only did a sterling job organising our Coaching retrobates but he won the football card and very kindly donated the £200 back to the charity.

Once again the community coming together for a great cause is what we strive for at Oakwirth Juniors.

A selection of our juniors will be at Cougar park today supporting our friends at Keighley Town FC as they begin their first home campaign!

Get down support the team and our mascots and Ball boys/girls!!

We couldn’t be prouder of former Oakworth Juniors coach, John Brownless

John has dedicated so much time to raising awareness of prostate cancer and supporting Prostate Cancer UK, using football to start important conversations that could genuinely save lives.

To see his incredible work recognised by Leeds United is thoroughly deserved and a testament to the passion and commitment he continues to show.

This isn’t just a friendly against Sutton – it’s the beginning of an exciting new pathway for our club, creating opportunities for our young players to continue their football journey in black and yellow.
