Keighley Golf Club

Our Captain Martin Jeffery held the annual club trip at Oulton Hall attended by 40 members. The men competed for the Hanson trophy and was won by Steve Partington and the ladies competed for the Elaine Pearson trophy and was won by Andie Styles on her first trip. Great golf, company and fun was enjoyed by everyone ⛳️

Congratulations to Claire Smith who won the gross prize today at the Bradford Championships held at Shipley GC over the last 3 days. She beat our very own Melissa Houldsworth in the semi final which was a great achievement for her. Congratulations also to Janet Clark who was beaten in the final of the nett prize 👏👏👏

Another successful day for our Lady Captain who hosted a 4BBB, Flat Cap, competition for her Yorkshire Cancer Research Charity. We managed to raise another £200. Congratulations Liz Tabel and Diane Appleyard who won with 46 points.

We had a fantastic time yesterday on Lady Captain’s day. The sun shone, the drinks flowed and the cakes were delicious. We then had a lovely dinner and prize presentation. Congratulations Molly Moule our overall champion and all the divisional winners. Thank you Bea for all our treats and looking after us all so well ❤️

Just a few pictures from what has been a fantastic day. The first of many Silsden Veteran's Association Golf Days has come to an end.

60 players, including a mix of members, guests, and ex-service men and women braved the heat in a Texas Scramble.

The day raised an astonishing £1000 for the association, which will go towards local charities. A huge thanks to Rory Romani, all of the Silsden Veteran's Association volunteers, the sponsors for prizes, and of course the players, who all made this possible.

Congratulations to the team of Gary O'Hara, Kev Mawson, John Rymer, and Jeremy Ireson, for taking home the title. 🏆
