Doddinghurst Perch Waking Up!
A cracking catch of perch and silvers from Doddinghurst this week for member Steve Bundy
The lake can produce some real quality perch, some in excess of two and a half pounds and they’re well worth targeting as we move into the autumn and winter months.
There are plenty of different ways to fish for them, whether you prefer traditional float or ledger tactics, or a more mobile approach around the lake. Lobworms and prawns can work very well on the right day.
Another good example of the varied fishing available on our club waters.
First 2 photos are of Steve's catch and the rest are of some quality stripes caught from the lake.
Thanks for the photos Steve, anyone else who wants to share your catch photos is welcome to send them via FB Messenger.
Tight lines.
