First up for us was Maya taking on a familiar opponent losing buy the smallest of margins 2-1
Second up was Lexi fighting an old friend winning 2-1
Then followed Sharon again fighting an old friend winning 2-0
James then made his return after nearly 1 year out of fighting taking on a very talented senior and giving a very composed performance and a very entertaining match losing 0-2
Phoebe came next on any other day would have won but narrowly lost 0-2
Maya’s second fight of the day again a measure performance much improved and only losing out on the last kick of the round 0-2
James’s second fight a junior match where James controlled distance tempo and his opponent winning 2-0
Libby followed a controlled and clinical match winning 2-0
Maya’s 3rd fight of the day was a senior player winning 2-0
Last up was Sharon’s second fight of the day. Unfortunately taking a finger to the eye early on.Withdraw

A good day at the Whiston Taekwondo Open Nationals prep event today in Manchester with the Team.

A few competing in new weight classes today & a good effort all round from all players. Thanks to Whiston Taekwondo for a good event and giving All players the opportunity to compete on the electronic system ahead of Nationals.
