🎯 WE’RE FULL! 🎯

All available places for our upcoming season at Kendal Youth Darts Academy have now been filled! 💚

After working our way through the waiting list, we’re delighted to be welcoming some new players to the academy — including some who have been patiently waiting since February for their chance to join us! 🎯

A huge thank you to everyone for the continued interest in KYDA. If you’re still on our waiting list, please don’t worry — you haven’t been forgotten! As spaces become available, we’ll continue working through the list in order and contacting families via email and WhatsApp. 📩📲

🎯 Meanwhile, away from the youth darts oche…

Our coaches haven’t exactly been taking it easy! 😆

We’ve been busy battling it out in the Ladies League, representing our respective teams and fighting for that top spot. A little friendly rivalry between coaches never hurts! 🏆😂

But alongside the fun and competition comes continued learning and development.

We’d like to congratulate Sharon, Jacob and Laura, who, alongside busy work commitments, have continued to invest their own time into developing their coaching knowledge and skills.

They have now completed the PDPA Level 1 Coaching Course, with the opportunity to learn from three-time BDO World Champion and Sky Sports commentator Glen Durrant and seven-time PDC ProTour title winner Jamie Caven, with former World No. 1 Peter Manley also in attendance. 🎓🎯

Chris Lovell, from the world of snooker and UK Coaching, also delivered an important session on safeguarding, an essential part of creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for young people in sport.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn from people with a wealth of experience across professional sport and coaching, bringing new ideas and knowledge back to our own academy.

For us, continued development isn’t just about adding another qualification — it’s about becoming better coaches and creating the best possible environment for our young players to learn, improve and, most importantly, enjoy their darts. 💚

The boards are ready. The places are filled.

🎯 DARTS PLAYERS – WE NEED YOU!

We’re helping spread the word for a fantastic event coming to Netherfield Cricket Club!

The Charity Darts Challenge is taking on the “Race to 104,716” and they’re looking for players of all ages and abilities to get involved.

Whether you’re a regular at the board or just fancy a throw for a great cause, everyone is welcome.

As one season ends, another is just about to start at Kendal Youth Darts Academy!

We’re proud to see incredible growth and improvement across our group, and it’s fantastic to watch our young players showing great etiquette at the oche.

A huge thank you to our amazing members for the unforgettable surprise of bringing the World Matchplay Trophy to our last session and arranging a special visit from darts legend Colin Lloyd.
