Buffalo Sabre thoroughly enjoying himself on his first day out with the Mid Surrey Farmers' Draghounds. He was an absolute star jumping everything on all 6 lines. Now for a few well earned days off.

Hogs Green Racing is a point-to-point racing yard based in Kent run by Will & Hannah Hickman-Jones.
Hogs Green Racing is a Kent based point to point, pre-training and rehabilitation yard established by Hannah Jones and Will Hickman. We have all weather gallops, schooling facilities, 55x35m sand school and horse walker. We also have a racing club allowing people to get involved in the sport of point to pointing. Buffalo Sabre has come in from his summer holiday, just as the weather has finally warmed up. Thank you Robert Edt Brissenden for his annual dentist visit. Next, a good bath and shoes, ready to begin work properly on Monday.
Looking forward to the season ahead.

Buffalo Sabre capped off his easy week with a fun morning spent at Denne Hill Cross Country Ride on Sunday. He especially enjoyed cantering back and forth through the water. He will be back up to full work this week with the intention to run at Peper Harow on the 13th May

We’re over the moon with Buffalo Sabre’s run at Parham today. The lowest rated in a very competitive Intermediate and carrying a 5lb penalty, he ran a cracking race to finish 3rd, just denied 2nd on the line.
Thank you to Point to Point at Parham for producing great ground, providing fantastic Best Turned Out prizes (including a carrot for Buffy) and the unparalleled Owner-Trainer hospitality.

Buffalo Sabre out in the paddock this morning. He was a bit quieter than usual after his latest run at Parham so we made the decision to give Aldington a miss, sad as it is our local course and we love having runners there, but what was best for him.
After a bit of physio treatment from the wonderful Lil Jones, he is back feeling 100%. He did a nice gallop yesterday and we are looking forward to Parham on Saturday

We were very proud of Buffalo Sabre at Parham on Saturday, where he stayed on to finish 2nd. He’s come out of the race well and we’re looking forward to Aldington on Easter Monday

Buffalo Sabre being his usual impeccably behaved self for a side saddle lesson. He will make someone a superb ROR horse once he’s finished with his racing

A super run by Buffalo Sabre for The Buffy Partnership at Larkhill against good company, he looked likely to get second but tired late on to finish a close fourth. He ran right up to his best rating and we're looking forward to running him back in the South East at Penshurst
