Hi
I hope you all have been well and safe.
After much deliberation both myself and Craig have decided to stop all classes for now and the future. This has been a tough decision but we cannot see how we can train children without any physical contact. Our WingChun is based on contact and without it we simple can’t teach it. The hall we train isn’t still open and We do not want to leave the children and parents “hanging on” any longer as we simply cannot say when things will be “normal”.
We have been so privileged to teach all of the students and this is hard decision for us to come to but we think it’s for the best.
We wish everyone of the students great success and hopefully our paths will cross again 😢😢😢
Thank you for all your time and efforts

After feedback from parents, we have decided to cancel all classes until further notice. We do not want to put any of our students, parents/guardians nor the wider family into a difficult position so to be on the safe side we will not be holding class. Now if the classes are not happening for a long period of times, we will endeavour to put weekly videos on here for the students to keep practicing. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact us on here or by email.
Keep safe and look after your loved ones

With the virus spreading, Craig and I were just trying to get everyone views before making a decision whether to suspend classes or not? Any feedback would be appreciated

The students had their grading this week. Both myself and Craig Collins were very happy with the students. Sifu Ed Pettitt grades each of the students on their respective grades. We decided that Swoz would take all the newcomers and Craig would continue with now Grade 2. Eloise and Jonathan took Grade 1 and throughout their training both got the concept quickly, and maintained their high level in their Gradings, enjoy Grade 2. Well done to the both of them. Bob, Annabel, Freddie, Brandon and Caitlin all did Grade 2 and they also continued their growth from Grade 1 into 2. Grade 2 even to an adult is a very long sequence to memorise and under Craig’s tuition they all achieved very high grades. Level 2 takes the changing of hands and feet, in different directions, use of both arms, it takes a lot of training and guidance.
Craig said the following:
Would like to say a very big well done to all the children that graded last night, you really did yourselves proud, you all deserved passing with the great marks you all got, I know myself and Siraj Swoz Islam Chowdhury are very proud of you and how you represent us at Wingchunuk for Kids in Tunbridge Wells
Grading next week for both Level 1 and 2! We are looking forward to it. Starts at 5:30pm, don’t be late
January fees are overdue, please pay any outstanding amounts
