Evening all!
It’s been a long time since I posted on here. I’ve finally managed to get out fishing, this time as a customer rather than a skipper! We have just had a great day out on the Peganina fishing out of Mevagissey for the Bluefin tuna. I can’t express enough how much fun and excitement there is fishing for and catching such amazing fish in the UK. Had a good go for a cod today but unfortunately no fruits for our labour! We did however have a few eels, 7 in total. Here’s Carl with a couple, best one went 24lb. A lovely day to be afloat!

Another day on the tope mark today. We had a Bullhuss which is a rare sight for us these days, plus a few skate and Tope! Well done all!

Today we didn’t see any big fish but landed plenty of small stuff. The best fish was this lovely plaice caught by Roland. We also caught what is believed to be an anchovy but you can all tell me I’m wrong!! Well done!! 🎣

Today we knew we was committed to inshore given the forecast. We went for a mackerel bash first before the wind got up. We landed plenty for dinner! We then headed down in the bay for a skate. After talking to a local shore angler, he gave us some heads up on what bait was fishing best for the rays at the moment. We haven’t fished down there for sometime so it’s always handy to get a heads up from others. Well fished boys, hope you had a good day! 🎣
