We’ve been a bit quiet on the social media front lately. Our course has had its maintenance last week and it’s in tip top condition. It’s playing great, looking lush and a great course to visit in a spectacular location.
Tee times are available via https://www.keswickgolfclub.com/ and at great prices of £38 up until 3.30pm then twilight from 3.30pm is only £21!!

We currently dont have food available BUT the clubhouse is comfy, warm and welcoming and we have hot drinks and cans and bottles from the bar available

Two more ladies finals took place yesterday on a glorious September Sunday at KGC.
The Bronze Scratch Matchplay Championship was a closely fought affair with Janette Watson the eventual winner on the 19 th hole from Alison Mullins.
The Marchbank Pairs Matchplay Championship saw Audrey Brooks and Lady President Kath Stevens win on the penultimate 17th hole. Runners Up in this great match were Pam Dobinson and Liz Scott.

Our ladies are amazing! Well done to all that took part and everyone’s support on the day 🏌️‍♀️

On Wednesday, 12 ladies from Keswick and Penrith travelled to Appleby to contest the annual Jubilee Trophy.

For the sixth successive year, Keswick triumphed, beating Appleby by 5 points, with Penrith following closely behind.

Our President, Kath Stevens, proudly accepted the trophy from Anne Cousin, Appleby Captain.

It’s been a fantastic year for our Ladies Section, with lots of great golf, good company and some wonderful successes along the way.

Own a unique oil painting of Keswick Golf Club’s iconic 16th hole and help raise vital funds for the MND Association.

This wonderful original painting was created by our former club professional, Craig Hamilton, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2024. This could be one of his last paintings due to the impact that MND is having, making it a very special piece.

The MND Association is also one of my Captain’s charities. It is a cause incredibly close to my heart, as my mum, who was also a member of Keswick Golf Club, sadly died from MND.

The live auction will conclude at the Dodd & Co MND Charity Open at Keswick Golf Club on Sunday 20 September.

📢 IMPORTANT CLUBHOUSE UPDATE

We would like to let everyone know that, unfortunately, we no longer have caterers operating from the clubhouse.

We appreciate that this is very short notice, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. At the moment, we are unable to offer any food from the clubhouse until further notice.

We will, however, be opening the bar on a limited basis, with a small selection of cans and bottles available.

We are working on the situation and hope to have further updates soon. We really appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and continued support while we work through this.
