I've grown this parsley from seed in my windowsill. It was so easy. Water, seed compost and sunlight - that's all it took. I'm going to transport it to my herb garden now, but I will grow some more because I live having herbs in these gorgeous old terracotta pots in my kitchen too. And here some wonderful facts about parsley:
π± A serving of parsley has more vitamin C than an orange
π± It's rich in vitamins A, B, C, and potassium too
π± Evidence suggests a diet rich in parsley can help prevent infections
π± Parsley is a natural tonic for blood vessels
π± Adding parsley regularly to your diet can help to regulate high blood pressure
π± Helps prevent UTI's and enhances kidney health
π± Parsley stimulates menstrual flow and soothes period cramps
π± Last but not least (and there is a WHOLE HEAP of other benefits I haven't listed too) - in ancient Rome parsley was used as a hangover cure π. Cheers π₯

Most of our stress and anxiety results from a disconnection from our bodies. The more rooted you are in your body, the less stress and anxiety you experience. Grounding is a great way to reconnect with your body, the earth and your furry best friend πΆβ€οΈ

βοΈPILATES FOR MENOPAUSEβοΈ
We meet every Wednesday at the beautiful studio space that is
If you are peri menopausal, in the midst of menopause or post menopause, this class has been specifically designed to help you.
Itβs no surprise that a healthy lifestyle will help you feel better through this transitional time and exercise and connecting with others (which is exactly what this class embodies) helps lift our mood and self confidence.
During our 15 minute chat time (where everyone is free to share their knowledge and experiences), I share evidence based facts and information to sign-post you to healthcare providers and practitioners; with the sole aim of supporting you with your journey.
Pilates is a perfect exercise for premenopausal and menopausal women. Itβs low-impact, but it helps increase flexibility and balance and improve muscle strength and tone. This class also includes some somatic movement, which means moving with full-body awareness, focusing more on how you're feeling rather than meeting a specific fitness goal. It's a great way of calming the nervous system and helping release any tension we may be holding on to.
If you fancy joining us, you will be warmly welcomed. You can book your space - their link is in their bio.

It's always great to receive nice feedback from my clients. But what I love more is watching them evolve and progress in their practice. I've taught this wonderful lady mat Pilates on the mat for a good while, but to see her connect to the reformer so well and to watch her grow in confidence with the 1-2-1 experience has been an absolute pleasure for me. It's what makes me love my job so much. Helping people work towards and reach their goals (whatever those goals may be) has always been, and will always be, my biggest motivation.

Who's had enough of the rain π§οΈπ§οΈπ§οΈ. Me ππ»ββοΈ. Feeling chilly and wet today so I cooked a recipe my lovely friend passed on to me recently. It's a mushroom stew (stew because it's cooked on top of the stove not in the oven) and it was so tasty too. d ππππ. No actually it.was absolutely mouth.watering ππππ. Healthy, hearty and not a dead animal in sight. A prefect dish for drab, rainy days. I love it when food warms me up and fills me up and there's nothing nicer than the feeling when food is so delicious, it warms the cockles of your heart too β€οΈβ€οΈ β€οΈ β€οΈ β€οΈ

I was genuinely so happy to have join me for a reformer session today. Roxanne has been practising Pilates with me on the mat for around 2 years now and her transition to the reformer was none other than excellent. It's a great reminder that, once learnt, the principles from the mat are so transferable to the reformer. I'm always delighted when my clients do well as I want them to leave the studio feeling confident and uplifted by their achievements. Well done you absolutely nailed it π¨π₯π€Έπ»ββοΈ β€οΈ β€οΈ

Reformer Pilates is so versatile it can help you achieve and support so many of your exercise goals, which also has a positive impact on your overall health. And the benefits to musculoskeletal health are life-changing. People practice one-2-one with me for many reasons, but the most frequent thing I hear is to help support back and joint pain. In reformer pilates we work the body as a whole and in doing so, we almost always find that our hip, back and other joint pain starts to dissipate. Why not book a session to see how you too can literally change your life. β€οΈ β€οΈ

A Sunday Brunch. 12 noon and I was hungry. Here it is. Plain and simple. Pan fried courgette, tomatoes, basil, garlic & mushrooms π
πΏππ₯(for a dose of fibre, vitamins and.minerals), h**p seeds (full of protein and fatty acids) and scrambled tofu (for another hit of protein, vitamins and minerals). I'm trying to keep my simple carbohydrates down a bit this year, so this worked well for me as my first meal of the day. I'm now off for a lovely long walk with my beloved dogs and to enjoy a hit of this winter sunshine βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ β€οΈ β€οΈ β€οΈ
