This is something I say to clients all the time, I say it to my step-kids and I try and think it to myself when things seem a bit tough.

Each one of us has different challenges on a daily basis, but we all have the ability to do our best. We can't do anymore than that!

On any given day, your best may be different... but it's still your best ❤️

Do you find yourself constantly wishing for someone to hold you accountable, guide your actions and celebrate your wins?

Look no further! My Online Accountability Coaching programme is designed to revolutionise the way you achieve your dreams. I’m here to partner with you on your journey to success.

What you get:
- An initial meeting/ chat to get clear on your goals and aspirations. We look at your timeline and schedule, to make sure you can make progress while still living your life.
- Weekly check-ins to gain feedback and track your progress – we can check in and engage on days and times that work best with your schedule and lifestyle.
- A personalised roadmap with actionable steps to propel you towards your objectives.
- A person-centred approach, meaning I meet you where you are, with what you have at your disposal, and all the experience you bring with you.
- Continuous support to keep you motivated and focussed, helping you navigate any challenges that come up, and stay determined and moving towards your long-term success.
- Quarterly face-to-face (or Zoom) meetings to have an in-depth discussion and analysis of current progress – the good and the bad! This ensures you learn from everything you do, meaning your success is inevitable.

I love this.

Imagine 6 months from now.... what have you have achieved? How close are you to your goal?

Will anybody care how you get there? Will they ask about bumps along the way? Will they ask about the hard work that you put in?

I hate to say it, but probably not. They’ll see the result, congratulate you and then move on.

What I’m trying to say is that only you, and probably those closest to you, will know what you’ve done and the journey that you’ve been through.

If something isn’t working at the moment, make a change. If something IS working, keep at it!

You’ve got this ❤️

Group training is different -
Not a crowded class.
Not one-to-one.
The sweet spot in between.

Small group training gives you:
• Coaching and guidance
• Structured strength training
• A supportive training environment
The result? Consistent progress.

You have 2 options - small group personal training or strength club.
Both limited to 4 people per class, so you get the support you need but also the energy of training as part of a group.
All sessions are written with the group in mind, but can be personalised to suit each person participating.

£20 per session, or a block of 10 sessions for £175 - these can be used for either group session, so you can have a mixture each week.

For more information or to book a space, email [email protected] or send a DM.

Things that have made me happy this week:

• Roasting veg that’s gone a bit soft in the fridge to make a pasta sauce 😋
• Trying to make my tired face look a bit fresher and brighter 😂
• Always love a new notebook.

What’s made you smile this week? ❤️

Tired little face.
Saturday morning session, even though I’d rather be at home 😂

I’ll feel happier about having done it later… maybe 😬

People often put off trying to change their lifestyle because they think it'll be too hard, or too overwhelming.

It may well be, but you can easily start as small as you need to.

If I'm starting something new, I grab a piece of blank paper and use it to map everything out - what I want, what I think I can do, what I can do if time/ money/ resources weren't a barrier, what I currently do... (you can try on your phone in notes, but I find the physical act of writing it all down really helps me)

Thinking about EVERYTHING all in one place can often show that things might not be as hard as we think. And if things are a bit hard, we may be able to see a way of breaking them down, so we can manage them better.

If you're putting something off, can we formulate a plan to help get you started? What are the main things you need to think about?
What are the main barriers you may need to overcome?

If you need any help, be sure to give me a shout.

I currently have availability to take on a few new clients, and my groups have spaces for you to slot into, so now would be a perfect time to get together for a chat about how we can work together.

Current regular 1-2-1 slots available are:
Monday @ 4pm
Tuesday @ 10:15am and 4pm
Wednesday @ 4pm
Thursday @ 5:15pm
Friday @ 9:30am

Regular physical activity is important, but there are other benefits of working with me at the studio:
- No wasting time trying to figure out what to do or find someone else's workout to copy - your goals, your workout, your results.
- A private facility, meaning a space that is never crowded, never waiting for a piece of equipment to become free.
- Training at a time that suits you - I'll do my best to accommodate training to suit your schedule.
- You get to support a local, independent business - and I'm always happy to show you around if you want a nosy at the place.
- I pride myself on having a wide range of services available, and can tailor these to suit your needs. We're all individual and should be training for our own wants and goals.

If you have any questions about the studio or training with me, feel free to send me a message - [email protected]

Today is our 8th wedding anniversary.

This past year seemed HARD, but I feel we can achieve anything when we work as a team ❤️

I don’t often post details of my workouts, just the fact that I do them.
For some people, there’s always going to be a comparison between what I do and what they do… and I don’t think that’s particularly helpful.

As a personal trainer, I will always be too thin or too fat; too fit or not fit enough; too weak or lifting too heavy – basically, not right for whatever reason. It’s frustrating, but I know it’s part of the industry that I belong to.

For me, there’s little use in posting my workouts as a whole, but I sometimes post the basic structure. This can give someone a bit of inspiration, or a bit of motivation. But the nuts and bolts of what I do is usually pretty boring – most sessions are:
Cardio/ conditioning
Chest
Back
Legs
Arms
Shoulders

If you look at my training diary, my workouts are pretty same-y (it’s a word, I promise), but I’m looking for consistency over a long period of time. I like to lift heavy weights, so I try and push myself as much as I can. But I also have periods where I’m just not motivated, so I’ll just get through the basics and get the workouts in the bank.
If someone asks me how heavy I lift, I will always tell them, but I usually get “well, I’ll never lift that heavy”… which I think proves the point of why I don’t publicise anything. Comparison.

We all need to work at the level where we currently are and improve on that – doesn’t matter what I do, other clients do, or what your Auntie Barbara does. The thing that will always be the most important is what YOU do, and how YOU can improve. And consistency will always be the best thing you can try and get into your training – keep things interesting and exciting, but just doing it will always be key to your success.
