Massive victory for the 2s on Saturday who brushed aside S&L.

Jonathan Cook put on a show with the new ball finishing with outstanding figures of 7/7 as S&L were at one point reduced to 17-7.

After keeping the opposition to a low total, the top order worked professionally to finish the job, with strong efforts from Ryan Cosby and Alfie Spencer, who both finished unbeaten to take us to victory.

The result leaves us just 12 points off of 3rd place with 2 games remaining in the season 💙

A comfortable win for the 1s on a tough day for batting at Rushton.

Top bowling from Liam Kendall, with help from everybody else saw Burton reduced to a total of just 101, at one point falling from 52-2 to 57-7.

In the second innings, Ryan Lingley held his nerve with a top effort, while Andy Millard chipped in with him to guide us towards a comfortable victory.

The positive result secures the 1s place in the division next season with time to spare 💙

On Saturday , Our second XI secured a dominant win against Irthlingborough CC.

Batting First, Rushton put Runs on the board early, and a brilliant knock from Alfie Spencer helped the 2s to a great total. 🏏

With the ball, Jonathan Cook picked up where he left off last week and took some key early wickets, which Freddie Frankcam followed up and helped the boys secure a great victory 💪💙

Our Second XI also managed to pull of an impressive win, helped by a brilliant Knock from young Ollie Millard and a great 5 wicket haul on his return to the side from Jonathan Cook 👏💙

Yesterday saw our 1st XI win convincingly at home to St Michael’s CC 👏

A very strong display of bowling restricted the visiting side to minimal runs , in which the boys managed to get with 14 overs to spare 💪💙

The 1s get back to winning ways with a massive 4 wicket victory away at Grange Park, on a day that saw over 600 runs scored. Young Tommy Mills led the way with a high class knock at the top of the order before John Fletcher helped see the boys home.

A proper team performance, never gave up in the field despite runs flowing and controlled the chase from the outset, getting above the rate early and staying there throughout. What a win 💙

Despite a late charge from Irchester Cricket Club, the 1s managed to pull of a massive win in their season

An outstanding opening partnership from Cameron Thompson and Nick Parmar of 130, gave license to the rest of the boys to have fun and we ended our innings on 249-4

A good start with the ball meant the away side had a lot to do, but a late burst from Irchester meant that they finished just short and Rushton won.
