Fence Attendants – Ffos Las Racecourse🏇🏻
Ffos Las Racecourse is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Fence Attendants to join our friendly team for approximately 20 National Hunt race days between October and June.
About the role
As a Fence Attendant, you will work alongside our established team to help maintain the fences, hurdles, and surrounding ground throughout race meetings.
During racing, you will be responsible for following and implementing the racecourse's safety procedures as instructed.
You will work as part of a team, with two or more Fence Attendants assigned to each obstacle, ensuring that safety and the smooth running of the race meeting are always the priority.
What we offer
Approximately 20 racedays per year, from October to June
Full training will be provided when you start, including racecourse safety procedures
A safety briefing before every raceday to refresh and reinforce procedures

Who we're looking for:
You don't necessarily need previous experience. We're looking for people who are:
18 years old and older
Reliable and responsible
Comfortable working outdoors
Confident working around horses
Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
Team players with a practical approach
Interested in horse racing and the excitement of race days
