🥇🏑Friday Night Blitz🏑🥇
Last night our P6 girls travelled to Ballynahinch for our first tournament of the season and yet again the A team brought home the gold 🥇. The B team narrowly missed out on bronze. Both teams played well and it was good to put the summer training into action.

Team A
As always, team A had a solid defence with Lyra, Katie and Hayden holding strong at the back conceding only one goal all night which ironically came from our B team. Our midfielders battled hard with Alice, Sarah, Ella and Annalee determined to win the ball. They also covered alot of ground and marked their players well throughout the night. Zena scored some lovely goals and also covered a lot of ground.

Team B
Our defenders were excellent last night , Brooke, Ellen and Hollie did an excellent job. The Ballynahinch Coach actually commented on how great they were. Hollie B in particular made some great clearance’s. Heidi , Oaklyn and Faith didn’t stop all night and Heidi managed to bag herself a goal. 👏 Wee Oaklyn who is two years younger didn’t look out of place at all and fought hard for the ball. 💪Mila and Rosie were a great duo and were very unlucky not to have scored, both missing on afew occasions.

Thank you to Castle Hockey Club and Ballynahinch Hockey Club for a great night of hockey. Special mention to Janice who made sure everything ran like clockwork. Everyone had a fabulous time.
