๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฑ & ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฑ to announce that with the support of Peter Mabon, Kayleigh Horner, the local council and other organisations, the Bunker Gym have raised awareness to have a defibrillator installation of vital life-saving equipment.
Ambulance services direct members of the public to defibrillators in emergency situations when theyโre on the official โCircuitโ, which means theyโre also 24/7 accessible.
This is why itโs ๐๐ผ ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ that this new unit is on external outside walls, not inside. We hope the defib will never have to be used, but they are there in the event of an emergency which makes us as a gym ๐ต๐๐ด๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ to know that this unit has been installed on the onbuilding we use...
Should the worst happen, our staff and the local community can all access equipment that could ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ.

Iโve learnt that a lot of things are controlled by how you perceive them.
You get to control how you feel and handle situations.
We naturally tend to go by :
I HAVE TO go to work today or I HAVE TO go workout โฆ
change your mindset start looking at life with more of a positive outlook.
Instead of saying I HAVE TO go to work today say I GET TO go to work today , I GET TO workout today.
Making that small change in mindset letโs you look at life through a lense of gratitude rather than one full of dread and negativity.

Personal post
โI want to be stronger and more muscular , but I donโt want to gain weight โ
Guilty.
The reality of this is it doesnโt work. If you want to be stronger and build muscle mass then it comes with gaining a little fat , it doesnโt mean that you need to hold this body fat for the rest of your time , you can go on a cut and reduce the fat and get nice and lean after the building phase , this is where you play about with body composition.
This isnโt for everyone , this is for those in the same boat as me where youโre ready to create more muscle mass. Itโs so easy to create a safety net around a set amount of calories because you know you arenโt gaining weight , however
If we want to progress we need to get uncomfortable.
Itโs hard and Daunting and I struggle with this daily but if you are determined on what you want and have that set goal then it is achievable ๐ช

โจFOR THE GYM NEWBIESโจ
If you are starting the gym in January and are feeling anxious this is a reminder for you ๐
โจGo in with a plan , a rough idea of what you want to do when you go in.
โจyou deserve to take up space too.
โจTake progression photos , youโll thank yourself later for this.
โจDONT compare where you are at to someone else in the gym , itโs easy done but every single person in there is at different stages in their journeys , but all there for the same thing to improve them selfs whether that be physical or mental. We have all been a newbie ( as seen in photos )
โจDonโt be scared to ask for help , I wish I did it sooner than I did.
โจEnjoy the process , find a style of training you enjoy and smash it.
โจpick a good playlist to listen to that will help you focus/ stay calm.
โจBe comfortable being uncomfortable. You might walk into the gym feeling so anxious and scared but once you do that a couple of times it wonโt even be a worry.
โจDonโt give up because you donโt see results fast , stay consistent, this is key.
โจIf you are really unsure on what you should be doing then seek advise from a PT , invest in yourself by investing in someone who knows what to do.

12 week transformation !!
During this block we put Amy on a calorie deficit while strength training to reduce her body fat whilst still building muscle mass !
Amy is ridiculously dedicated and does not miss a session๐
Amy started unsure with certain machine and wasnโt overly confident , however she has hit several PBs this block including 75kg hipthrusts with perfect form ๐คฉand smashes her sessions following her plan with confidence on her own ๐
Hard work shows off , well done Amy canโt wait to see what results we get next block , unbelievably proud โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

This class will primarily focus on the use of body weight with the inclusion of light resistance. The class is low impact and guaranteed to work your whole body within the session!
The class takes the style of a Pilates class with our own special Bunker twist on it. It is ideal for beginners and for those who wish to โSculpt and Toneโ their physique.
