Scotland’s first 4G non-infill pitch ⚽

We’re proud to announce the completion of a landmark installation for Pollok United at Dennis Donnelly Park in Glasgow’s Southside: the first 4G non-infill pitch in Scotland.

The surface is Pure PT, supplied by TigerTurf, and it brings a new standard to the Scottish game:

✅ No infill required: less material used and simpler maintenance
✅ Low maintenance: consistent quality with less effort
✅ Durable: built for long-term use and engineered to endure intense gameplay

A project like this only happens through strong collaboration. A huge thank you to:
🔹 Pollok United, for their vision and trust
🔹 The Scottish Football Association, for their support
🔹 TigerTurf and TenCate, for the product and technical expertise

It’s been a privilege for the CY Turf team to deliver this one, and we can’t wait to see it in use.

⚽️ FULL-TIME RESULT ⚽️

Crosshouse 1 - 3 Ardeer Thistle

Disappointing result for the boys today against Ardeer at home.

The game started off really slowly, with Crosshouse just not seeming quite up for it in the first half. Ardeer got the first goal, which should have been the kick up the backside Crosshouse needed, but unfortunately another goal followed not long after.

Soon afterwards, Jai stepped up with a cracking free kick, putting the ball in the back of the net to make it Crosshouse 1-2 Ardeer. Unfortunately, another goal from Ardeer followed shortly after, making it 1-3.

The second half saw Crosshouse come out with a bit more fight. Plenty of chances were created, but we just couldn’t find the target.

A disappointing result, but Ardeer were well-deserved winners. We wish Ardeer all the best for the rest of the season.

KFA 3 - 5 Crosshouse

A bit of a wet one today as the boys headed to Kilwinning to face KFA in the AYFL L2. 🌧️⚽️

The boys started really quickly and found themselves 0-2 up within the first 15 minutes. KFA then fought their way back into the game, but the boys managed to regain control and went into half-time 2-3 Crosshouse.

KFA came out quickly in the second half and scored an early equaliser to make it 3-3.

The boys stuck to the game plan, kept pushing and went on to score a further two goals to make it 3-5

On any other day, the boys could have scored another 5 or 6 goals, but credit to the KFA goalkeeper who had a fantastic game and pulled off some great saves to keep the scoreline down.

Final score: KFA 3 - 5 Crosshouse
