Winners of the Stevie Rafferty pairs yesterday were Peter McKenna (r) and Joe Scoular (l) with Stevie centre.
A great day was had by all with the weather being kind to us.
Thanks also to Stevie’s son Stephen in Australia who contributed to the sponsorship.
We are delighted to announce that our pétanque opening day will be Saturday 19th September at 1pm.
Everyone are welcome to come along and try the fastest growing sport in Scotland at the moment and played all year round.
with experienced and international players on hand to give lessons if needed.
There are no barriers in petangue it is for young and old alike, a real family sport that all can play.
No special clothing or footwear is required and boules will be available for beginners or maybe even try your hand at bowling, again bowls are available but flat sole shoes are a must( some shoes are available)
The clubhouse will be open from 12.30 with refreshments available.
Plenty on site parking and fully accessible clubhouse to enjoy at the first Pétanque club in East Ayrshire.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an absolute gentleman and past President Jim McVey this morning.
Jim was also the first president of Kay Park bowling club and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
We will pass on funeral details soon.
Our condolences to Francis and family.

Many thanks to Symington bowling club for yesterday’s annual fixture. The weather played a great part but the bowlers along with the ladies in the kitchen and bar ensured everyone had a marvellous day.
