KTC Club Championships 2026⭐️
A message from Club President Gavin Thomson
It’s safe to say it has been a fantastic week and a great showcase of talent at our own club.
🤩 A massive thank you to Lyndsay O’Connor and John Howie as the tournament referees/schedulers, re-schedulers and much more. They are the driving force behind this week and their help is greatly appreciated.
🎾 We had 107 entered and 24 were playing their first club champs and 68 played more than one event. This itself shows that the growth of competitive tennis at the club is clear to see.
🎾 159 matches scheduled and re-scheduled and we have certainly utilised our 2nd complex at Howard Park to help ease with the busy schedule.
🎾 We had 7 households that have had a player here more than 6 days, so it just shows how we are very much Ayrshire’s family club.
🙏 And to our sponsors, without their help, funding and support it would be hard for us to put on a spectacle as good as we can and it just shows off the community spirit between clubs and local businesses.

Kilmarnock Tennis Club 🩵 True Fitness Championships … off and on rain throughout the evening - however it didn’t stop play . 💪🏻🎾
Junior single events continued kicking off this afternoon with 10U Singles with great tennis on show.
Mens singles and doubles to follow in the evening along with the 16U Boys Doubles Finals and Senior Men’s Singles Final. Despite the weather all matches were completed.
End of day 6 … 111 matches have been completed. ✅
Finals day starts with junior events with main finals starting from 11am. We look forward to seeing everyone outside.

Kilmarnock Tennis Club 🩵 True Fitness Championships … the rain held off for some of the evening - thanks to everyone for their commitment in tricky conditions . 💪🏻🎾
Junior single events continued kicking off the evening with 14U Boys Singles , 18U Girls singles and 16U Boys Doubles.
Mixed and Men’s doubles got underway and despite the weather all matches were completed. Thanks again to Lindsey and John for all the scheduling and rescheduling to accommodate the weather and players. 👏🏼
A reminder to continue to check online for confirmed start times for over the weekend.
