🌟 Building Real World Confidence🌟

Ever feel like everyone else has it all figured out, and you’re the only one doubting yourself?

If you think you can't... think again! 👊

Our club is filled with students who once said the exact same thing. They doubted their abilities, worried they wouldn't fit in, and almost let fear make the decision for them.

Instead, they took the chance. And the result? Absolute transformation. From building unbreakable self-confidence to making lifelong friends, they completely changed their story.
You don't need to be perfect to start; you just have to be willing to try.

🌟 Student Spotlight - Zoe Navaratnam 🌟

The Fear
Probably the same as everyone starting in their late 30s....Am I fit enough? Am I too old? Can I stay committed with work and life going on too? Would people judge me?

The Reality
It was great fun!
From day one, everyone made me feel welcome, and I was able to train at my own pace. The Phoenix Team is the reason you'll keep coming back. The encouragement and support you receive from the very beginning carry you through every stage of your journey.

Why I Started
I needed something more in my life than just work.
I had become comfortable, bored with my routine, and felt ready for a new challenge. Tae Kwon-Do gives you a sense of achievement that quickly becomes addictive. It pushes you beyond your comfort zone and brings a new level of confidence, purpose, and satisfaction to everyday life.

The Result
It has changed everything.
As my fitness improved and my body started moving more freely, I became even more committed to my health. Training gave me a reason to skip the Friday night drinks and start the weekend feeling refreshed.
Feeling better in myself gave me the confidence to try new activities and embrace new challenges. Classes became a safe space away from the stresses of everyday life. The focus required during training helps you switch off from the noise around you and simply enjoy the moment.

My Advice
Just start.
You're as ready as you'll ever be. You don't need any previous experience or a certain level of fitness. You can progress at your own pace, supported by a team that's behind you every step of the way.
You might just surprise yourself.

A good grading in Göttingen today...good standard from the students. Then a training session for the Phoenix Taekwon-do Germany Instructors, as part of their preparation for the Taekwon-do World Cup in Canada.
Good luck to Sebastian, Tori and Vova.

🌟Student Spotlight - Mason McGill🌟

The Fear
After being with another club and gaining 6 belts, I was afraid of changes and how I would fit in with the Phoenix way of learning, new people and Instructors.

The Reality
I was nervous on my first session to begin with, however both Harris and Logan Gibb were present at training, who I knew previously.from playing football with. This put me at ease and after meeting Master McMillan and Mr Callaghan, I was left feeling welcome and rest assured this was the best move for me

The Why
The best part for me in Phoenix TKD is learning every training session including, patterns, sparring and extra training such as Take Downs and Stand Strong Programmes. I particularly like the thought of all students helping out others regardless of belt colour or age and play to each others strengths
