Tonight was the last Squad training session of the 2025/2026 season.

As always we finished for the break with the biggest tournament of the year, the Northwest VOLLEYBALL tournament !
If it wasn’t for the referee I personally think the cheating could have been out of control 😉

Have a great summer break and we’ll see you all when the new 2026/2027 season kicks off.

She’s only went and done it !!!

Erin Hargreaves competed in the newly reformed 4 Nations Championships today. Where the best of the best from Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland compete to be crowned 4 Nations Champion.

Erin produced another outstanding performance today in the final against Ireland and we’re delighted to say she had her hand raised as the winner.

Mixed results for the team today at the Western District Championships.
Aaron Woods and Tommy Stewart both had tough bouts against lads from Keir Hardie ABC, NEVER an easy bout against them. Both lads bring Silver medals home.
Shea McGurnaghan keeps impressing and brings the Gold medal home.
Unfortunately no bouts for Aidan Sarwar and Hugh Clark in the championships 👎🏻

Great learning experience for everyone, next season we go again.

Another busy weekend ahead for team Northwest.

We have Arron Woods, Tommy Stewart, Shea McGurnaghan and Hugh Clark all competing in the rescheduled Western District Boxing Scotland Championships.

Isla Grant & Euan Ross will be running in Kilmarnock’s 10k race “Roon the Toon” on Saturday morning. Also running in the 10k race is Northwest’s sponsor Jim Gemmell. Here’s hoping Isla & Euan can keep up with Jim 😉
