Zen-Bu Do Martial Arts Academies is proud to officially launch our revamped worldwide branch.

Zen-Bu Do International Martial Arts Academies already includes over 60 highly ranked Masters and Grandmasters across more than 15 countries.

Founded 25 years ago in the UK and Sri Lanka, we have continued to grow from strength to strength. We are a collective of like-minded instructors, Masters, Grandmasters, and schools committed to preserving the true principles and values of martial arts. Race, creed, colour, and religion are of no consequence to us. We welcome practitioners from any martial arts background, provided they successfully meet our strict vetting process and are genuinely committed to the art, rather than simply seeking a certificate.

We do not sell black belts or grades. Instructor grades are earned, not bought. Our role is to recognize, ratify, and confirm legitimate rank and achievement. We also remain entirely independent of regional or martial arts politics.

Membership offers global recognition and access to a wealth of knowledge from around the world. We provide opportunities to attend international courses and seminars, and where requested, we can organize grading panels across multiple martial arts disciplines. In some cases, members may also be invited to serve as an ambassador for their home country.

WOW!!! What an amazing couple of years it has been. From launching our International branch last year we have grown and now we have over 70 high ranking instructors in over 20 countries around the world. On a personal note I have been honoured to have received over 20 awards and nominations from around the world including a G. O. A. T. Award (GREATEST OF ALL TIME) as well being Recognised and Commended in the UK House of Commons (the British Government) for services to Martial Arts and various charities in the UK and around the world. We are growing bigger and stronger every day and are very well respected. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, I am both honoured and humbled. OUS!! 🙏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️

Just back from an amazing weekend at the UK MARTIAL ACADEMY SHOW in Doncaster. Brilliant catching up with so many friends, training and watching some fantastic displays. Got to see my 2 assistants Fiona and Stevie awarded TOP INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR and inducted into the UK MARTIAL ARTS HALL OF FAME. Then when I didn't think it could get any better I was given a LEGEND AWARD. Thanks to Paul Barnett and Bob Sykes and to Karen and James for looking after me on stage.
